Inauguration of Physics for Medicine Institute by the french Minister of Higher Education and Research
On February 15, the new premises of our institute Physics for Medicine Paris were inaugurated at PariSanté Campus by the French minister of higher education and research, Mrs. Sylvie Retailleau.
Our institute Physics for Medicine Paris is one of the five research institutes of PariSanté Campus, a site dedicated to the progress of digital health and reuniting academics and start-up companies in the field of biomedical research and development.
Bringing together around seventy members, Physics for Medicine Paris is a research unit affiliated to Inserm, ESPCI Paris – PSL and CNRS institutions. Our team is developing new imaging and therapy methods, building on numerous collaborations between scientists from several disciplines: physics, biology, medicine. These advances directly serve the world of research, but also medical doctors and patients. Making connections between scientists of diverse fields has always been the core of our reseach approach, and is a natural fit in PariSanté Campus.
In January 2023, our institute relocated at PariSanté Campus in new lab premises. Mrs. Sylvie Retailleau, French minister of higher education and research, visited our new facilities and delivered an inaugural speech:
