20based%20on%20tremor%20amplitude%20in%20the%202%5Cu201320%20Hz%20band%20was%20calculated%20to%20evaluate%20the%20efficacy%20of%20each%20thermal%20ablation.%20On%20average%206%20%5Cu00b1%202%20ablative%20sonications%20only%20were%20required%20to%20induce%20improvement%20in%20tremor%20on%20the%20clinical%20rating%20scale%20for%20tremor%20%28CRST%29%20of%2089%20%5Cu00b1%2011%25%20at%20D%20%2B%207%2C%2079%20%5Cu00b1%2012%25%20at%20M%20%2B%201%2C%2074%20%5Cu00b1%2019%25%20at%20M%20%2B%203%20and%2072%20%5Cu00b1%2023%25%20at%20M%20%2B%2012.%20The%20overall%20predictive%20efficacy%20measured%20with%20accelerometry%20during%20the%20treatment%20was%2070%20%5Cu00b1%2030%25.%20The%20tremor%20amplitude%20reduction%20measured%20with%20accelerometry%20was%20correlated%20with%20CRST%20scores%20tremor%20reduction%20at%20multiple%20timepoints%20%28%5Cu03c1%20%3D%200.79%20at%20D%20%2B%207%2C%20%5Cu03c1%20%3D%200.75%20at%20M%20%2B%201%2C%20%5Cu03c1%20%3D%200.86%20at%20M%20%2B%203%2C%20and%20%5Cu03c1%20%3D%200.63%20at%20M%20%2B%2012%29%20and%20accelerometric%20data%20gathered%20during%20treatment%20predicted%20CRST%20tremor%20improvement%20at%20M%20%2B%203%20%280.88%20area%20under%20ROC%20curve%29.%20This%20exploratory%20study%20is%20a%20proof%20of%20concept%20suggesting%20that%20accelerometry%20measurements%20can%20provide%20real-time%20feedback%20on%20tremor%20reduction%20and%20can%20complement%20visual%20evaluation.%20In%20the%20future%2C%20the%20use%20of%20the%20outcome%20prediction%20introduced%20in%20this%20paper%20may%20shorten%20procedure%20time%20and%20limit%20adverse%20events%20by%20reducing%20the%20number%20of%20ablative%20administered%20sonications.%22%2C%22date%22%3A%222025-12-31%22%2C%22section%22%3A%22%22%2C%22partNumber%22%3A%22%22%2C%22partTitle%22%3A%22%22%2C%22DOI%22%3A%2210.1080%5C%2F02656736.2025.2481153%22%2C%22citationKey%22%3A%22%22%2C%22url%22%3A%22https%3A%5C%2F%5C%2Fdoi.org%5C%2F10.1080%5C%2F02656736.2025.2481153%22%2C%22PMID%22%3A%2240289258%22%2C%22PMCID%22%3A%22%22%2C%22ISSN%22%3A%220265-6736%22%2C%22language%22%3A%22eng%22%2C%22collections%22%3A%5B%2294NJIV78%22%5D%2C%22dateModified%22%3A%222026-04-03T08%3A12%3A47Z%22%7D%7D%5D%7D
