Mickael Tanter enters the European Academy of Sciences
Mickael Tanter, research director at Inserm and head of the laboratory Physics for Medicine Paris (Inserm/CNRS/ESPCI Paris), has been elected as a fellow of the European Academy of Sciences.
The European Academy of Sciences is a fully independent international association of distinguished scholars recognizing and electing to its membership the best international scientist with a vision for Europe as a whole, transcending national borders, with the aims of strengthening European science and scientific cooperation. Another objective is to advise European bodies for the improvement of European research, technological application and social development. The ambition of Mickael Tanter’s laboratory is to transform physics concepts into biomedical technologies including imaging and non-invasive therapeutic devices for the fundamental understanding, the diagnosis and the treatment of pathologies.
