Bienvenue sur ma home-page.
Welcome to my personal home-page.
I am a CNRS Research Director working at Laboratoire PMMH of the ESPCI Paris.
I am a physicist, experimetalist mostly, even if I am interested in numerical simulations.
During the last twenty years I have worked on many different research topics. from active flow control to transition to turbulence in shear flows. But since the last few years I focus acoustic manipulation of suspensions of particles or cells, i.e. Acoustofluidics.
I lead the Acoustofluidics team with my colleague, Mauricio Hoyos.
I am also still in charge of the Flow Control team.
I am also co-founder, with M. Hoyos and E. Vincent, of Aenitis Technologies, a start-up dedicated to the design of new devices using Acoustic Radiatio Force to handle or sort various living cells, like blood cells (http://aenitis.fr/).
We have been laureate, with M. Hoyos, of the BPI « Emergence » 2014 prize dedicated to the creation of new innovative start-ups. Since then Aenitis has been awarded many other prizes, as well as national and european grants.
