
A workshop dedicated to functional ultrasound imaging of the brain
fUSbrain #DAYS will take place in Paris (France) on June 19-20 2025. During these two days, you will get the chance to exchange about the latest advances in functional ultrasound (fUS). The program will include keynote lectures from international experts, practical courses, as well as sessions for talks and posters.
The workshop will be limited to about a hundred participants and priority will be given to people submitting an abstract for a talk or poster. Please see the section below regarding “Abstract submission”.

We are honored to welcome four keynote speakers for fUSbrain #DAYS 2025:
- Alessandro Gozzi, director of the Functional Neuroimaging lab at Instituto Italiano di Tecnologia and expert in brain networks
- Serge Picaud, neuroscientist and director of the Vision Institute in France
- Sadaf Soloukey, MD/PhD, neurosurgical resident and expert in intra-operative neuroimaging at Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands
- Thomas Deffieux, deputy director of the Institute Physics for Medicine Paris and expert in functional ultrasound
The detailed program will be posted as we get closer to the event. Besides the keynote lectures, it will include talks and posters sessions. Check the below section “Abtract submission”.
The following topics will be covered: microvasculature and perfusion imaging, neurovascular coupling and its alteration, brain functional mapping and decoding, functional connectivity and brain networks, behavior and awake imaging, drug discovery and therapeutic effects, clinical applications and proof-of-concepts, multimodal neuroimaging, methods and technological developments.
You are encouraged to submit an abstract for a 10-min oral presentation or a poster. The abstracts will be evaluated by a panel of international scientists.
The call for abstracts is open until February 28th 2025.
Guidelines
- Your abstract should be formatted as follows: .pdf file, one A4-page including one figure, maximum 250 words, maximum 2MB.
- Please name your file as follows: abstract_LASTNAME_FirstName.pdf
Registration will open in March 2025.
Registration fees will apply as follows: 150€ for students / 200€ for non-students. They include attendance to all scientific sessions, lunches on both days, and a social event on Thursday evening.
Venue: the workshop will take place at PariSanté Campus, 2-10 rue d’Oradour-sur-Glane, 75015 Paris, France.
Meals: a buffet lunch will be provided on both days, and a social event will be organized on Thursday evening.
