🧑‍🔬Strengthening our team
We welcomed Jerome Baranger as CNRS Research Scientist, bringing our community to 11 permanent researchers.

📄High-impact publications
Our work was featured in leading journals, including:
Zamfirov et al., Nature Biomedical Engineering
Thalgott, Zucker et al., Nature Biomedical Engineering
Haidour et al., Nature Communications

🏅Scientific recognition
Mickaël Tanter was officially inducted into the French Academy of Sciences (Académie des sciences), a major recognition of his scientific contributions and outstanding career in biomedical ultrasound.

📅 Scientific events & community building
We hosted in our premises in Paris:
• fUSbrain2025 conference (June 19–20), our international workshop dedicated to functional ultrasound imaging of the brain
• the first Ze[US] seminar (December 4), bringing together the French key actors of ultrasound technologies

🩺From lab to clinic: first-in-human & clinical studies
SonoMind: first-in-human study completed and technology transferred to Sonomind for further clinical validation of ultrasound neuromodulation for treating severe depression
eMyosound: multicenter clinical study on heart failure imaging in Boston (MGH, BW, BMC) and a pilot study on cardiac amyloidosis completed at Hôpital Henri Mondor
Cardiawave: CE marking obtained for innovative non-invasive ultrasound cardiac therapy developed with the lab

🙏 A huge thank you to our entire team: researchers, students, engineers, technicians, administrative team as well as to all our partners: clinical, industrial and design partners for making 2025 such an inspiring year!
