Dear colleagues and friends,
ULB has obtained a COFUND funding from the MARIE SKLODOWSKA-CURIE (H2020) program. This COFUND program, entitled IF@ULB, will allow to hire 63 postdoctoral researchers at the ULB for the next five years. Three calls are planned. They will be open to all research domains (not only science).
The first call will be opened on August 1, 2018 and be closed on October 15, 2018. The two-year postdoctoral fellowship will begin between April 1 and October 15, 2019. Eligible researchers must have a PhD (with a maximum of 7 years of seniority) and must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Belgium for more than 12 months during the last 3 years before the call deadline.
Interested researchers should contact me in August or early September to have enough time to write a research proposal. The subject of this proposal is open to discussion with the candidate but should be related to my research activities (see my website below). The candidate will actively participate to the writing process.

The call procedure and the required documents to apply to IF@ULB can be found on this website
https://if-at-ulb.ulb.be/
In summary, the applicant should write a research proposal (template to be downloaded on the website above) and submit it through the website together with some required documents (CV using the downloaded template, a letter of acceptance from me, a copy of the PhD degree, etc.). All the details can be found on the website (or directly here https://if-at-ulb.ulb.be/storage/files/guide-for-applicants-v3.pdf). Several applicants can mention the same supervisor. So the supervisor does not need to perform any pre-selection.
Interested researchers should contact me in August or early September if they need help to write the research proposal. The subject of this proposal is open to discussion with the candidate but should be related to my research activities.
The call is open since August 1, 2018 and will be closed on October 15, 2018. The two-year postdoctoral fellowship will begin between April 1 and October 15, 2019.
Don’t hesitate to spread this announcement in your network and/or to contact me if you need additional information.
