The MSLab is hiring a young post doc for 2x6 months concerning the characterization of therapeutics oligonucleotides by mass spectrometry.
One of the 2 topics has to be achieved:
1/ Investigate the potential of electron driven fragmentation methods for the de-novo seuqnecing of chemically modified ribonucleic acids (therapeutics-like sequences)
2/ Screening of the higher order structures of chemically modified RNA. This will be achieved either using capillary electrophoresis coupled to ion mobility mass spectrometry, either/and ion mobility mass spectrometry and collision induced unfolding.
Strong experience in mass spectrometry (fondamentals and application) is mandatory. Former background with oligonucleotides is an asset.
