This project focuses on the oscillation of a fiber clamped to a loud speaker in one end and interacting with an wetting droplet in the other end. The oscillations depend on the bending modulus of the fiber, and on the added effect of the droplet: added mass, additional dissipation, and capillary restoring force. One of the questions is the conditions for droplet ejection.
