We have a postdoctoral research position currently available in my group at the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. Appointments is anticipated in the Spring 2025. The ideal candidate would have 1) a PhD in Analytical Chemistry with experience in one or several of the following: (a) mass spectrometry instrument development (ion sources or similar), (b) imaging mass spectrometry of biological tissues, or (c) LC-MS-based metabolomics.  Successful candidates will primarily focus on research but will also be involved in training and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.

The MSLab is hiring a young post doc for 2x6 months concerning the characterization of therapeutics oligonucleotides by mass spectrometry.

One of the 2 topics has to be achieved:

1/ Investigate the potential of electron driven fragmentation methods for the de-novo seuqnecing of chemically modified ribonucleic acids (therapeutics-like sequences)



2/ Screening of the higher order structures of chemically modified RNA. This will be achieved either using capillary electrophoresis coupled to ion mobility mass spectrometry, either/and ion mobility mass spectrometry and collision induced unfolding.



Strong experience in mass spectrometry (fondamentals and application) is mandatory. Former background with oligonucleotides is an asset.

J'ai l'opportunité de recruter un IR en analyse métabolomique à l'Hôpital National d'Ophtalmologie des 15-20 et à l'Institut de la Vision (sur le même campus près de la Bastille). Ce recrutement s'accompagne du financement de spectromètres de masse dans le cadre de la création de la plate-forme.

Je cherche un ou une titulaire d'une Thèse en métabolomique qui soit capable de faire fonctionner correctement des spectromètres de masse et de prendre la charge, à terme, de la plateforme, sachant que le contrat est prévu pour une durée minimale de deux ans. Il s'agit d'un CDD IR dans un premier temps qui a vocation à être pérennisé en CDI INSERM à l'issue du contrat.



Le poste pourra être ouvert au recrutement dès le 1er février 2025 si le dossier de candidature convient à la fonction.
