Hosted by PC’UP – Incubateur ESPCI Paris (ESPCI Paris – PSL), on June 26th, the 2025 edition of Falling Walls Lab Paris once again brought together some of the most inspiring young researchers and entrepreneurs to pitch their “wall-breaking” ideas in just 3 minutes.
👏 A huge thank you to our brilliant jury for their insights and energy: Lucie Rivier (Entrepreneurship specialist, Ministry of Research), Karla Balaa (Innovation manager, PSL University), Fabrice Lemoult (Accoustics researcher at ESPCI Paris), Nadine BUARD (Co-founder and president of IRIDESENSE), Olga Chashchina (Co-founder and CTO of Metyos) and Milad Moazzam, PhD Moazzam (Innovation engineer, former winner 2024).
🧠 A neuroscientist, a climate policy expert, a life science researcher, and a quantum physicist — all gathered to identify this year’s breakthrough thinkers.

🔹 Emilie DUVAL (SenseBioTek Health Care) is breaking the wall of body odor decoding
🔹 Hamidreza Neshasteh (Université Paris-Saclay) is breaking the wall of useful photonics
🔹 David Fainsin, PhD (Laboratoire Kastler Brossel – LKB) is breaking the wall of quantum computing
🏆 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀… Emilie DUVAL ! She will fly to the Falling Walls Lab final in Berlin in November! Congratulations to Hamidreza Neshasteh for the second position and to David Fainsin, PhD for the third! 🥳
