Since November 2024, I joined the Institute of Porous Materials of Paris, University Paris Sciences & Letters, ESPCI, CNRS, ENS, as a Full Professor of Materials Chemistry and Electrochemistry, and being visiting Researcher at theInstitute of Molecular Chemistry and Materials of Orsay, University Paris-Saclay. My current research focuses on the elaboration of materials and the functionalization of catalytic surfaces for (photo)-electrochemical energy conversion and the development and characterization of electrodes for batteries and their modeling.
From 2015 to 2024, I was as an Associate Professor of Materials Chemistry at the University Paris-Saclay, France, in the group of Research and Innovation in Electrochemistry for Energy (ERIEE), Institute of Molecular Chemistry and Materials of Orsay (ICMMO, UMR 8182). I obtained a Habilitation to Supervise Research (HDR) from the University Paris-Saclay in 2020. From 2021 to 2024, I was heading the Institute for Sustainable Energy of the University Paris-Saclay.
In 2015, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratoire de Génie Chimique and Laboratoire d’Analyse et d’Architecture des Systèmes at the National Polytechnical Institute of Toulouse, France.
In 2014, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Inorganic Chemistry of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.
I graduated from Aix-Marseille University with a PhD degree (2010-2013) in Materials Science at the Centre Interdisciplinaire de Nanoscience de Marseille, France, in close collaboration with the Center for Catalysis Research and Innovation of the University of Ottawa, Canada, where I spent several weeks in 2012, and a Master degree in Advanced Materials for Nanosciences and Energy in 2010.
